Hamilton reveals how he responds to days he 'feels like stopping'

Lewis Hamilton has revealed how he responds when he goes through days in which he "feels like stopping".

It has been a difficult start to the 2023 F1 season for Mercedes, with the team struggling to match the pace of their rivals with the W14, though both Hamilton and George Russell finished ahead of the Ferraris in Saudi Arabia.

The struggles at the Silver Arrows have led to speculation over Hamilton's future, though the Briton has insisted that he does not currently see himself being "anywhere else".

Ahead of the upcoming Australian Grand Prix, Hamilton has reiterated that he is "on a mission" in a post on Instagram.

Hamilton 'on a mission'

Alongside a video of himself running along a beach, Hamilton wrote: "Some days I feel like stopping.

"When I start to feel this way I dig deep and remember I'm on a mission. Whether you realise it or not, you're on a mission too.

"We're all chasing something. Some dream or goal that will make us better people, make our lives more fulfilling, and make us proud of ourselves.

"Some days it'll feel impossible to get there, but it's not. We can get it. We will get it.

"I know you’re with me, I feel the love and support and just know I'm sending it back to you tenfold. We got this."
