Leclerc steps up to the F1 feeder series after two seasons in Formula 3, where he scored two victories in his rookie season in 2020 at Le Castellet and Zandvoort. This year he finished sixth in the Drivers' Championship after a single victory at Silverstone. Incoming AlphaTauri driver Nyck de Vries has provided an insight into the dynamic between himself and reigning World Champion Max Verstappen. After a successful audition at the 2022 Italian GP, De Vries secured his first full-time F1 race seat with AlphaTauri, and will drive alongside Yuki Tsunoda this season. The Dutchman was previously unaffiliated with the Red Bull junior team, having previously been Mercedes test and reserve driver.
