Hamilton recalls 'almost impossible' challenge of staying grounded in F1
Lewis Hamilton has opened up about the challenge of staying grounded in F1, having found it "almost impossible" to do this at times in his earlier career.
The Briton – who grew up in Stevenage – made his debut in the sport in 2007, and admits that it can prove difficult to avoid "levitating" when experiencing such a dramatic change of Lifestyle .
Speaking to Australian broadcaster Fox Sports , Hamilton explained: "Let's be real, I think for anybody coming from a normal background – I grew up in a council estate, I grew up on my dad's couch, we didn't have a lot – and then all of a sudden, down the road, you're in the spotlight, things are thrown at you, you come into money...
