Gasly impressed by welcome from Alpine after 'promising' test
Pierre Gasly has been left impressed by how Alpine welcomed him into the team following his first test with the squad.
The Frenchman joins the outfit on a multi-year deal from 2023 onwards, having previously raced solely under the Red Bull stable for his prior F1 career.
Gasly was given his first experience with Alpine at the post-season test day in Abu Dhabi and admitted that the experience had been more than positive.
When asked whether the test had confirmed his hopes, Gasly told media, including TheFOXposts.Com : "I think it's been even better [than I had anticipated]."
