Hamilton's new project? 'I'm ready to go into space!'

Lewis Hamilton may have hit stratospheric highs in his F1 career to date – but the Briton may have his eye on reaching for the stars more literally. Speaking during the Australian Grand Prix weekend, Hamilton revealed that he had been speaking to SpaceX founder Elon Musk for some time, and that the Briton was keen for a visit into outer space . "It's not the easiest thing to speak to someone like that, because his mind is expanded, it's on such another level, you know, so I get all nervous when I'm talking to him," Hamilton said of his interactions with Musk. AlphaTauri effectively serve as Red Bull's B-team, with several drivers having graduated to Red Bull from the junior side over the years, including incumbent Max Verstappen, along with Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Daniil Kvyat, Alex Albon and Gasly. But despite Tsunoda's improved form so far in what is his third season in F1 , Tost says the Japanese isn't ready for a promotion to Red Bull just yet. "Yuki doesn't need good words," Tost told media, including TheFOXposts.Com . ...

George Russell has vowed to have a "really strong " winter after voicing his belief that he is "absolutely ready " to become a World Champion. The Briton completed his debut season with Mercedes in 2022 and clinched the team's one and only victory of the campaign at the penultimate race of the season, the Brazilian Grand Prix. Russell also finished ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton in the Drivers' standings, having scored 275 points in P4 to Hamilton's 240 in P6. With his first year of racing alongside Hamilton under his belt, Russell feels even more prepared to fight for a title, though he admits that he has felt ready for this for some time. Russell: I've felt ready to win title for a couple of years While Russell was mostly racing an uncompetitive car at Williams prior to joining Mercedes, the 24-year-old already started to feel capable of becoming...
