Hamilton under investigation by stewards for practice infringement

Lewis Hamilton has been put under investigation by the stewards for failing to slow during a red flag.

The red flag came out during the session because of debris needing to be picked up, after Pierre Gasly suffered a puncture exiting Turn 10.

Hamilton appeared to pass Lando Norris and Mick Schumacher on the way into Turn 5 when the red flag came out during FP3.

Former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has arrived in court in London for the latest hearing ahead of his fraud criminal trial later this year. Ecclestone, 92, served as F1 CEO, stepping down when Liberty Media took control of the series in late 2016, being given the title 'chairman emeritus'. Bottas takes two-wheeled adventure in Imola replacement race

Valtteri Bottas joined partner Tiffany Cromwell at a cycling race in Scotland after the cancellation of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The race at Imola was called off early in the week after extensive rainfall led to flooding and landslides in the surrounding region. Alfa Romeo driver Bottas did not take the weekend off for relaxation ahead of the Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix double-header though, instead taking part in the Gralloch Gravel event – part of the UCI Gravel World Series. The Finn excelled to finish 114th out of over 1,000 entrants in the 113km race, though he was outshone by Cromwell, who triumphed in the Women's race. F1 2023 Azerbaijan Grand Prix Qualifying results

Charles Leclerc nabbed pole position for Formula 1 's Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and will be joined on the front row by Max Verstappen. Having set the exact same time as Verstappen on the first runs in Q3, Leclerc improved by 0.242s on his second run, as Verstappen could only find 0.188s.
