VIDEO: FIA reveal F1's nomination for 'action of the year' award

The FIA have decided which moment from the F1 season has been nominated for their 'action of the year' award.

Ahead of the annual 2022 FIA Prize Giving ceremony, fans will have the chance to vote for their favourite piece of racing action from all of the FIA-affiliated series.

The nomination from F1 has been selected, with the FIA choosing the Lap 45 battle between Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton from the British Grand Prix.

The contest featured side-by-side action, track limits controversies, and an advantageous double overtake from Hamilton.
