Former F1 team boss on Alonso's biggest regret
When he eventually calls time on his Formula 1 career, there will be one question on everyone's mind about Fernando Alonso: Could he have won more than two world titles?
TheFOXposts.Com has previously looked at all the failed career moves in Alonso's career that ultimately contributed to his lack of championships, including the ill-fated attempts to revive the Honda glory years with McLaren and his efforts to bring regular titles back to Ferrari.
Only recently has everything come together for Alonso following his two-year sabbatical, which saw him return to Alpine and then subsequently leave for Aston Martin due to the contract situation at the French team.
The move to Aston Martin turned out to be one of the better ones in his career, as the Spaniard is back achieving regular podiums - something he hasn't done since prior to the hybrid F1 era.

Jordan: Alonso chased the money
Former F1 boss, Eddie Jordan, believes Alonso will come to regret many of these career moves because he was chasing the money rather than outright competitiveness.
"Alonso chased the money, he went to teams where he was getting more money than what he would have got in another team, which probably had a better chance of him winning the world title," he told the High Performance podcast.
"He probably now regrets that because he's got so much money. Sometimes when you look back, you think 'That was a mistake'.
"If I was to say to Fernando if he was sitting there opposite me, I'd say 'I think, Fernando, you made a mistake, you've still got a great legacy; twice F1 World Champion, but you in your heart know it could have been easily five or six.'"
